As part of VIKA Capitol’s ongoing commitment to growth, innovation, and client excellence, we are proud to announce the addition of new leadership. At our March Associates Meeting, we celebrated the promotions of eleven exceptional team members whose contributions have helped shape our firm’s success and will continue to influence its future.
These new leadership roles are the result of the achievements of our team members and also reflect VIKA Capitol’s strategic focus on cultivating internal growth, elevating service offerings, and strengthening client partnerships across all disciplines.

Congratulations to all our new leaders on their professional achievements and leadership success.
A 25+ year VIKA veteran, Anika has been instrumental in shaping VIKA Capitol’s growth over the last nine years. As Assistant Director of Survey and VP of the DC Association of Land Surveyors, she exemplifies dedication to mentorship, community impact, and professional development. Her continued ties with Howard University and commitment to the next generation of surveyors have made her a pillar of our team.
“Anika consistently exceeds expectations with her commitment to excellence in every project. Her dedication, exceptional attention to detail, and outstanding project management skills make her an irreplaceable member of our team. It is with great enthusiasm that we celebrate her well-earned promotion." – Matt Hull, Director of Surveying, VIKA Capitol
Since 2014, Brian has been an indispensable team player at VIKA Capitol. A licensed landscape architect with decades of experience, he has taken on leadership roles across engineering, planning, and landscape architecture. Brian’s collaborative spirit and broad expertise make him a key driver of project success—and his strategic mindset extends from site plans to the golf course.
“As the consummate team player Brian can be counted on to lead not just the members of our Landscape Architecture Department but our Planning and Entitlement Departments as well, while still possessing the capacity to jump in on any project (including helping the Engineering and Survey Departments) to make sure we’re exceeding our clients’ expectations. His willingness to help and to find a way to say yes to our clients is truly instrumental in making VIKA Capitol successful.”
– Kyle Oliver, Principal Director, VIKA Capitol
